Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center

The Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center (BTRC) gave several of our Little Brothers and Little Sisters the opportunity of a lifetime by providing a six-week scholarship to their riding program. Best of all, the Littles were able to share this experience with their Bigs by their side!

Our matches began their time at the BTRC learning about the horses and everything that goes into taking care of these majestic animals. Littles were able to participate in cleaning, grooming, and even feeding time. As a result of their hard work, our Little Brothers and Little Sisters were given the chance to ride a horse inside the corral during the later sessions, learning several beginner equestrian riding skills!

For most, it was their first time seeing a horse up close and personal, and for all, a first chance to ride one. What a memory of a lifetime!
