The first step in getting your child involved in our program is to give us a call at (716) 873-5833 and let us know you are interested in enrolling your child in our program. Or, complete our enroll a child contact form and someone will get back to you.
Your child's eligibilty is based upon a number of factors, including , but not limited to:

• Family circumstances |

• Child's need and whether or not he/she will benefit by what we have to offer |

• Willingness to participate |
| |
• Residency - must reside in Erie County, NY |
In order to assess your child's need for the program, agency personnel will spend time getting to know you and your child. Depending on which program (community based or site based) your child becomes involved with, the assessment will either take place in your home or at the site.
Before a match takes place, the child and parent are offered an opportunity to meet the Big Brother or Big Sister who has been selected based upon the parent's preferences. Likewise, the interests, abilities, experiences and preferences of the volunteer are also considered when choosing the right Little Brother or Sister.
